Russian PM signs liberalization of 100% of Siberian hydropower mkt
MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a ruling that allows Siberian hydropower plants to sell all their capacities at market prices instead of at a price set by the government, according to the ruling published on the government’s Web site on April 30.
Capacities of Siberian hydropower plants were sold under the regulated prices until May 2014, when the government allowed them to sell 65% of capacities at market prices. The switch to sales of 100% of capacities under market prices was planned for 2017.
